After eleven years of running our program across Boston and Los Angeles, Abigail Ogilvy Gallery closed in the fall of 2026.
Founded by Abigail Ogilvy Ryan in Boston in 2015, the gallery began as a platform for emerging and mid-career artists working across the country and internationally, with a particular focus on concept-driven contemporary art. After nine years in Boston, the gallery expanded to Los Angeles in 2023, bringing the program to a new city and community.
Throughout its eleven-year run, Abigail Ogilvy Gallery championed new perspectives through independent curation, artist partnerships, and a collaborative approach to the traditional gallery model. The program presented solo and group exhibitions, guest-curated projects, and opportunities for artists, curators, collectors, and other art world professionals to connect and engage with contemporary art.
While the gallery is now closed, we are deeply grateful to the artists, collectors, curators, collaborators, colleagues, and community who shaped the gallery and made our program possible. Thank you for being a part of this wonderful journey together.
