Art Submissions

Abigail Ogilvy Gallery is committed to exhibiting the strongest work from both local and international artists. The gallery’s exhibition programming is determined solely by the curatorial staff and not by unsolicited submissions.

Abigail Ogilvy Gallery welcomes submissions from artists for review, but asks that prior to submitting your work you consider our mission and programming in order to determine whether your submission is appropriate to our gallery. The best means to determine the appropriateness of your submission would be to visit the gallery and view our exhibitions. If this is not possible, please explore our website and browse our current and past exhibitions.

You may submit portfolios by emailing  Submissions should be in the form of PDF presentations, or links to your website or your gallery’s website.

We cannot accept actual works of art, postcards, catalogues, or any other works in a physical format. These materials can all be submitted digitally. The Abigail Ogilvy Gallery cannot be held responsible for submitted material.

Please Note

The gallery receives hundreds of artist submissions. As a result, it may not be possible to reply to all submissions. While we are happy to review your work, doing so does not constitute a promise to exhibit your work. The gallery’s exhibition schedule is planned in advance and is carefully balanced to present our viewers with a varied artistic program. Therefore, we are rarely able to accommodate unsolicited submissions for exhibitions.

We cannot make studio visits, see the work in person, or engage artists to discuss their work in our offices during the initial phase of the review. If there is sufficient interest from a gallery director, we will contact you about any further steps.
